Say hey to the latest and greatest AGP couple – Ashleigh and James! I am so so excited to share their engagement session on the blog! Their downtown Clayton NC engagement session is hands down one of my favorites! We got drinks, strolled around on a beautiful evening, and captured some really genuine laughs. Who knew I was so funny?

Ashleigh & James – Downtown Clayton NC

For their engagement session in downtown Clayton NC Ashleigh and James wanted to take me to their old stomping grounds! I was so excited to bring their origin story to life. They had their first few dates (and subsequently many more) at Clayton’s own First Street Tavern. I absolutely love love the vibe of our whole afternoon together. The laughs are abundant and genuine – it brings me a whole lot of joy to share them!

Ashleigh and James met through their mutual profession in education when James was just starting out as a beginning teacher in 2014. He was fortunate enough to have an observer as awesome as Ashleigh and by 2021 – he was ready for the year of no regrets. While he never officially asked Ashleigh to be his girlfriend – he simply and intimately asked her to be his wife in October of this year. I love how focused they are on the simple, intimate, and seemingly ordinary things that make up magical everyday moments.

I can’t wait to celebrate their wedding in October 2023 at the Firehouse in Goldsboro! So without making you wait any longer – look how cute these are!
