I am on a never-ending quest for the best bagel North Carolina can muster. I don't discriminate when it comes to cheese or pinot noir and if I could only eat one thing for the rest of my life I *think* it would be soft pretzels.
I am a Raleigh Wedding Photographer and I love photographing couples who are SO excited about their big day and they are NOT afraid to talk about it incessantly. I never tire of hearing about ALL the things so if you're looking for professional photography experience AND a bonus bridesmaid, pull up a chair, pop the champagne, and lay it on me!
I moved from NY to NC to pursue a career in education!
Time with family is my motivation for a lot of what I do and what I aim to achieve in my business. Growing up in New York, our house was the hub - everyone who crossed the threshold felt like family. When you cross the threshold of my business, that is how I want you to feel. Like you just walked into my house, got handed a drink, and found your place (which for me, is usually next to the food)
I am a married mama of one rambunctious little boy. I have spent the majority of my adult life pursing a career in education so between high school kids and my two-year-old I have excellent people skills and a high tolerance for nonsense and debauchery. Which is good - especially for my seemingly mild-mannered husband (who always surprises people with his ability to throw it down)

I love wine tours and historic areas - especially historic areas with wine tours. I still rave about my 25th birthday falling on Sangria Festival day.
I would be a large pie with pepperoni, sausage, black olives, and cherry peppers. Give me the zing!
For sure is The Office. Long live Michael Scott memes. "I knew exactly what to do. But in a much more real sense, I had no idea what to do."
I am also casually a total horse girl. I've been riding off an on my entire life and would not be where I am today without horses and my horse people.
I picked up my first "fancy camera" when I was pregnant with our son. I wanted beautiful, quality pictures that I could print and plaster all over our walls just like I did our wedding photos. I was (and still am) OBSESSED with our wedding photography and floored with the quality and style in which we were genuinely captured. I printed the majority myself and I KNEW I needed to learn how to get ALL of my pictures to turn out that great. Someone once described me as nostalgic and I could not agree more - I love hardcover books, old school paper planners, and especially printed photos and albums. I love the feel of a tangible photo and the way it transports you back to that moment - the one your mind starts to forget - and you remember how you felt that day, with those people, at that place.
