Their friends and family traveled from all over to be with Jeannie and John on their special day.

The Arrowhead Inn is an intimate Bed and Breakfast located in Durham, North Carolina. Their unique space is perfect for intimate or micro weddings seeing an elegant estate backdrop.

Some of my favorite moments from Jeannie & John’s wedding in Durham NC –

• Their vows! Jeannie and John each chose a song that represented how they felt for and about one another and played it during the ceremony! This was such a unique and heartfelt way to share vows to each other!
• The weather! I know that sounds crazy but the weather was a *bit* dicey this day. We were able to move the ceremony outside at the last minute. Not only did the weather hold off but the sun came out during the ceremony and blew around leaves off the tree – it was magical!
• The Saber Ceremony – At the end of an Air Force wedding ceremony it is traditional for fellow members to create a saber arch for the new couple. In order to pass they must share a kiss – but that doesn’t always get them all the way through – they have to really MEAN it! I loved sharing in this special tradition!
