Christin and Brandon are one of the most genuine and sweet couples I’ve ever had the pleasure of spending an entire day with! Of all the Greensboro wedding photographers at their disposal I am honored to have been able to capture their big day! Their Greensboro Arboretum wedding was perfect! Having not spent a ton of time in Greensboro downtown I was quickly smitten with the vibe of the whole city. There’s no shortage of Greensboro Downtown NC restaurants, parks, things to do, and of course – beautiful photo opportunities!
Christin and Brandon have known each other since they were in the seventh grade! Life has taken them through some amazing adventures including a cross country move to California and now back to Maryland. Their biggest (and arguably cutest) adventure yet has been parenting their little boy Kaiden.
This sweet couple chose their hometown of Greensboro downtown for their wedding since it is where they spent a huge chunk of their relationship and where their origin story begins. After reviewing the best Greensboro wedding venues, Christin and Brandon chose the gorgeous gardens and gazebo of the Greensboro Arboretum for their ceremony. Greensboro arboretum photography is simply the best with the diverse walking trails, abundant florals, and gorgeous bridges, pathways, and arches. They finished off the night in the heart of downtown Greensboro at Natty Greene’s Brewing Company.
Christin was surrounded by her wholly supportive besties and sisters while she got in her dress and put on the finishing touches. Dry eyes were few and far between and I loved stealing a quick bridesmaid reveal!
I learned quick that a little friendly competition runs through their whole family! They played rock-paper-scissor to see who had to say their vows first and there was an equally fun contest to determine speeches later on!
Specifically Brandon’s brother’s speech and their vows. I was touched by their brotherly bond and how proud he said their late parents would be of the man, husband, and father he has grown to be. Christin and Brandon also wrote their own vows and let us in on everything they love about one another. Little Kaiden held his mama’s hand while she read her vows and I about melted into a puddle.
I knew some portraits in Greensboro downtown were important to Christin and Brandon. Earlier in the day I scouted some cool spots and we ended up on the roof of a nearby parking garage. We stole a few minutes during dinner to drive to the top and it was my favorite part of the day. The photos are some of my favorites but what I loved most was having a few minutes together to learn more about what they do, what they love, and where their story is taking them next.
Christin and Brandon – I am honored to have had the opportunity to spend your wedding day with you! I loved feeling like one of the fam and celebrating with the people closest to you! Congratulations on your wedding and your new adventure in Maryland! Here’s a big ole sneak peek of your gorgeous downtown Greensboro wedding!
