Feeling comfortable in front of the camera is one of the most important aspects of really good wedding photos. Looking into a massive camera lens can be super intimidating and "romantic poses" is not a vocabulary phrase you use in your day-to-day life. WEDDING EXPERIENCE
WHAT IS YOUR SHOOTING STYLE?
I pride myself on being wholly attentive and stealthily unobtrusive. I love interacting with you, your guests, and your bridal party! There will be parts of the wedding day when I will need to be in control in order to accomplish everything that needs to be done in order to keep everyone on schedule. There will also be moments when you shouldn’t even know that I’m there. (The ceremony, during dances and toasts, etc.) I teach my couples how to pose and interact quickly and efficiently so they are naturals on the wedding day! I am able to provide a cohesive blend of editorial (posed, styled) images and documentary (moments as they happen, candid) images. I describe my editing style as light, vibrant, and timeless.
HOW MANY IMAGES CAN I EXPECT?
I average about 50-75 final images per hour that we’re actively shooting throughout the day. This estimate is normally on the higher side since I tend to be an over-shooter. I cull out the blurry, unflattering, or duplicate images to give you the best gallery experience. I love delivering your images quickly and easily via an online gallery. You will have the ability to print, share and download your images and gallery as much as you want. I believe in freely sharing my work because that is what I would want if I were in your shoes!
WHEN CAN WE EXPECT OUR GALLERY?
A lot of care goes into the handling of your images. Before editing even begins I transfer photos from multiple SD cards onto multiple hard drive and cloud backups to ensure their safety. From there, I weed out the winners, categorize them to fit the flow of your day and get to editing! I edit each image carefully, consistently, and cohesively. The process takes about 8 weeks or less - and don’t worry you’ll get some sneaky sneaks and I’ll keep you updated along the way! I deliver a sizable sneak peek and blog post within 48-72 hours of your event that you will be able to share and download so that you don't have to wait for the whole gallery to get some of your favorite moments!
