Zebulon Engagement Session | Little River Park

I am OBSESSED with this Zebulon Engagement Session. I stumbled upon Little River Park in Zebulon while scouting locations that were in between my location and Rebecca and Brendan’s and boy – did I SCORE. Rebecca told me she really wanted to embrace that romantic, ethereal, natural vibe and this location delivered!

I’m not going to lie to you – doing anything outside in July is borderline torture. I have been photographing all summer and have been so impressed with my couples and even my own tolerance of the heat. However, the day of their engagement session was HOT. Even during some late day sunshine, the heat would not quit. Rebecca and Brendan were amazing and never once complained! The photos came out so gorgeous you wouldn’t even know we were sweating bullets while we were out there!

Little River Park

Little River Park is a slice of paradise in Zebulon, North Carolina. I was so excited to find this little spot in my location research, especially never having been to Zebulon. The trails are easy to navigate and there are beautiful spots on both sides of the river. There is also an abundance of shady options so even though the sun came out to beat on us we still had plenty of shade and plenty of gorgeous photo backdrops. I would go out of my way to have another session here to explore even more of the little park! However, I probably would skip the whole hottest-month-of-the-year nonsense. There is no swimming in the river but we sure were tempted.

Overall, this Zebulon engagement session was a huge hit in my book. I am SO grateful for Rebecca and Brendan – they were so amicable and fun! They even brought champagne! I am so grateful to couples who trust me with their photos even when we’re moving quick to get out of the heat! I cannot wait for their beautiful wedding in April!
