Stunning is the first word that comes to mind when I think of this fall wedding at Lavender Oaks Farm with Ashton and Nick! From the colors to the dress to the party I would say that everything was flawlessly stunning. At their spring engagement session they shared with me how excited they were to celebrate with all of their friends and family.

Ashton looked simply stunning in her gown complete with a cathedral veil with lace detailing that flowed and tossed beautifully. The buttons all the way down the back of the dress accentuated the sophistication of the entire look. Luckily for me I had the opportunity for a full-on sneak peek of Ashton’s bridal look during her bridal portraits at Lavender Oaks earlier that fall.

An Intimate Faith Centered Wedding Day

Ashton and Nick shared an intimate first touch instead of a first look for their wedding day. They shared quiet words and prayers with one another will keeping that first look anticipation for the aisle. Alongside her wedding party, Ashton and her girls also said prayers over the wedding day.

Ashton’s bridesmaids wore a stunning burgundy velvet dress that complemented the lush florals perfectly. Against the backdrop of late fall in North Carolina the color of the dresses and the dusky blue of the groomsmen suits really brought out the feels of the season.

A Fall Wedding at Lavender Oaks Farm

Lavender Oaks provided a stunning backdrop for Nick and Ashton’s fall wedding. Even when the Lavender is dormant, the sprawling fields are still a sight to behold. We were able to hop into the golf cart and ride out to the largest of the Lavender fields for the most epic golden hour portraits.

The day ended with a raucous party surrounded by their family and friends. They even enjoyed the outdoor fireplace and late night s’mores before rounding out the day with a sparkler send off.
