I am one of those people who is always so shocked by how quickly time passes by. The days can be long but man the weeks, months, and years are so short! But here we are – end of January 2023 already! It has been such a productive month. I am so excited to share all the fun things going on in the world of Amanda Graves Photography with the January 2023 recap!
I am so excited to welcome two new couples to the AGP fam for 2023! Inquiries for fall dates have been flooding in left and right and I am EXCITED. I think fall is my favorite season. Fall wedding season though? It’s nuts in all the awesome life-giving ways. So I am so excited to celebrate these new couples!
This month I got a few engagement sessions on the schedule for my spring and fall couples! I am so excited to have photo sessions on the books after this month! My camera has not left my bag in a whole MONTH. This break is intentional so I can focus on backend work and education! January is such a good month to freshen up my skills and pursue creative ventures. In addition to scheduling some sessions I also delivered the last of my 2022 wedding galleries! This overlapped with the holidays but I am so excited to have these finalized and sent off to happy, awesome couples!
Oh – I am SO excited about this one! After an entire YEAR I have finally published my wedding guide for AGP couples. This magazine not only showcases some of my most amazing couples – but it is LOADED with information for my couples! I am so excited to get my hands on these and get them out to my 2023 couples! The magazine is such a labor of love but I really am looking forward to offering this to my couples! Planning a wedding can be a LOT so having a tangible resource from one of your vendors is invaluable!
If you have been around for any length of time perhaps you noticed a bit of a website refresh! I was starting to feel disconnected from my branding and my website was looking tired. It has since received a much needed facelift! I am in LOVE with the green scheme – green is my favorite color (shoutout to all my couples with a green theme!). All of my price guides and inquiry forms got an update and I am so excited to share a new streamlined inquiry to booking process for all my couples!
Since I have not had any sessions in January I’ve been mainly hanging out at home editing galleries. I’ve also been hanging out with Daniel a LOT. I think we have watched the Lego Batman movie every day this month multiple times a day. Though, we did switch it up and watch the Paw Patrol movie for a week straight. Both very underrated by the way. Dan is also potty training (or nearly there) which if you know anyone with a little how amazing this feels! I also registered my big boy for preschool for the fall! It has really been an exciting month for us!
February is going to be all about easing back into the swing of things! I am outrageously optimistic that we’re going to get a snow day somewhere in the mix. There are some amazing styled session opportunities on the horizon that I am super excited about. I love to showcase my couples everywhere because they highlight REAL moments and REAL weddings but I’ll be damned if I don’t love a styled session! It is such a great opportunity to take beautiful photos, be creative without a strict timeline or photo list, and course hang out with some amazing industry friends!
